Want to discover Splashdiving, develop your technique or discuss a supervised group activity? Tell us your goal and the region where you would like to train. Looking for training?

Start your training enquiry with your region, current experience and goal: an introduction, technique development, competition preparation or a supervised group activity. Schools and pools can also describe the group size and available facilities. A parent or guardian should make contact for a minor. Please do not include children’s names, health information or confidential incident reports. The availability of a suitable professional and venue still needs to be established personally.

Your first contact

Oliver Hillebrecht / SPLASHDIVING International coordinates Splashdiving enquiries at splashdiving@splashdiving.com. This is an organisational contact for building the network, not proof of a coaching licence, a confirmed lesson or an independent safeguarding service. A session requires a separate agreement with the responsible qualified person and venue operator.

What coaching competence looks like

Look for demonstrable experience relevant to the activity, teaching ability, suitable qualifications and respect for boundaries. Rescue capability, first aid, supervision and operator approval must be established for each assignment. Competition results alone do not establish coaching competence. Future profiles should clearly separate experience, checked qualifications and actual services offered.

Coach? Introduce yourself.

Would you like to contribute as a coach? Introduce your region, intended groups, coaching specialisms, practical experience and existing qualifications. Include your languages and general availability. Describe supporting qualifications in words initially rather than sending unsolicited documents. The proposed work, professional suitability and local requirements must then be considered together. An introduction does not create a directory listing, a licence or an assignment.

How a profile is created

After your enquiry, we discuss the proposed work personally, check relevant qualification evidence and agree any reference contacts. Work with minors requires suitability checks, a safeguarding briefing and the code of conduct. Professional and organisational requirements depend on the specific activity. Only then, and with your separate approval, may we publish your name, photo, region, specialisms and approved contact details. Application data is not published in the meantime.

Good coaching needs safeguarding

Each programme must have an adapted and implemented safeguarding policy addressing sexual violence, named contacts, secure reporting routes and an agreed emergency plan. Nobody must accept unwanted touching, pressure or humiliation. Our working draft supports preparation but does not replace local implementation.

Send only essential information initially. Do not send unsolicited ID copies, criminal-record certificates, qualification files, children’s data or information about third parties by email. We agree any necessary evidence and possible publication separately.

Enquire about training

For adults, parents and guardians, schools and pool operators. * marks a required field. Do not include children’s personal details or health information. This is an enquiry, not a booking.

Apply / get in touch as a coach

For initial contact by adults. Describe qualifications in words; documents and any later publication are agreed separately. An application is not an appointment, licence or profile approval.

Privacy information for training enquiries and coaching applications

We use your contact details, region, selections and voluntarily provided text to handle your request and communicate with you. Required fields are marked *. Providing them is voluntary; without essential contact and request details, we cannot process an online enquiry. Do not submit health data, children’s names, incident reports, ID documents or criminal-record certificates. No public profile is created and no data is passed to a coach without separate agreement.

Where your enquiry concerns possible training or another contractual service, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request before a contract). General network introductions are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in answering a contact request initiated by you. The required checkbox acknowledges this information; it is not a marketing consent. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation.

The forms forward messages to the Splashdiving organisational inbox. Authorised people handling enquiries and necessary hosting and email service providers may process the data. Contact Form 7 is configured not to store form messages in message-storage extensions. This does not delete email correspondence or normal server logs. We retain correspondence only while required to handle the request, fulfil applicable duties or protect legal rights; otherwise it is deleted after the purpose has ended. There is no automated applicant selection or profiling.
