Sport & Style

Make those seconds your own.

Splashdiving brings acrobatics, individual style and the splash together. The movement in the air matters, and so does the way an athlete enters the water. A look at the sport from German broadcaster BR ↗

The Jump Chart names the landing positions. The people give them a story: athletes from the early world championships, familiar faces from the scene and a new generation bringing their own ideas.

A good clip is not a training session. Use authorised facilities, follow the pool rules and train with qualified supervision.

A Shared Language.
The Jump Chart.

The original artwork shows 13 named landing positions. Explore their names and the shared language of Splashdiving.

The chart is not a practical diving tutorial. Train only at authorized facilities and with qualified supervision.

Historical Jump Chart by Oliver Hillebrecht (2007). Since then, only the Open-L Vis has been added, the most difficult landing position on the chart.

Club of Legends

The people who made it.

The people behind the jumps. Their stories, their signature style, and the moments that helped shape Splashdiving.

The Journal

The stories
behind the splash.

What remains after the water settles? Names, encounters and photographs with a story to tell. The journal brings together retrospectives on past events, interviews and television features. Each account distinguishes documented results from announcements made at the time and personal recollections. Explore the history of Splashdiving without mistaking an archive story for a current event listing.

Explore the archive by year: competitions, national-team selections, interviews and television features. Each retrospective identifies its evidence and archive date.

For a profile enquiry, tell us the name you use in the scene and the experiences you would like to share. Include a supporting reference for any results, or describe the records you hold. Photographs, rights, credits and the final text are agreed separately. An enquiry does not automatically create a profile or secure entry to the Club of Legends.

For corrections and feedback, identify the page and explain what needs changing. Please do not include confidential information about other people. This general contact is not an emergency channel or a confidential safeguarding reporting service.

For press, interview and media enquiries, include your publication or production, topic, proposed format and deadline. If you need archive material, describe the subject, period and intended use.
